I forgot my password in order to download an app from the app or google play store

If you have forgotten your Apple ID or Google Play log in and/or password, you won’t be able to download an app from the App or Google Play store.

Here’s how to change the password associated with your Apple (iphone) account.

1. Tap on ‘settings’ in your phone
2. Click on your name at the top of the list
3. Go to ’Password and security’ (this may be called something slightly different on your phone)
4. Tap on ‘Change password’ and follow the instructions in order to do so.

Here’s how to reset the password associated with your google (android) account:

1. Go to https://www.google.com/accounts/recovery 
2. Follow the instructions in order to recover your password.
